Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Website and your participation in any Courses or Services provided by Resuscitation Skills Centre.

By accessing the Website, creating an Account, making a booking, or participating in any Course or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Website or purchase Services.

Bookings for Courses or Services become confirmed once payment has been received or other arrangements have been agreed in writing.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
Account” means the account created by a User or Participant to access Services, Courses, or related learning materials.

Content” means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, learning materials, data compilations, or other information appearing on or forming part of the Website, Courses, or Services.

Course” means any face-to-face or online educational activity, workshop, seminar, event, training program, or related learning activity delivered by Resuscitation Skills Centre.

"Fees” means any charges payable for Courses or Services. “Participant” means any person registered or enrolled to attend or participate in a Course or Service delivered by Resuscitation Skills Centre.

Resuscitation Skills Centre” refers to RESUSCITATION SKILLS CENTRE PTY LTD, operating in Australia as Resuscitation Skills Centre, Australian Business Number (ABN): 76 668 746 745.

Services” means all Courses, educational activities, tools, resources, and related offerings made available by Resuscitation Skills Centre now or in the future.

System” means any online communication or learning infrastructure made available by Resuscitation Skills Centre, including but not limited to learning platforms, messaging systems, discussion areas, and contact forms.

Website” means the website currently in use (getrosc.com.au) and any associated subdomains or connected digital learning platforms used to deliver Services, unless otherwise governed by their own terms and conditions.

We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to RESUSCITATION SKILLS CENTRE PTY LTD (ABN 76 668 746 745), operating in Australia as Resuscitation Skills Centre.

You” or “Your” means the Participant, User, Candidate, or organisation making a booking for Services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this Website, enrolling in a Course, or purchasing any Services provided by Resuscitation Skills Centre, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Website or purchase Services.

These Terms apply to all Courses, events, services, and related offerings provided by Resuscitation Skills Centre, whether delivered online, face-to-face, or in a blended format.

3. Bookings and Payment

  • 3.1 Course bookings may be made via the Website or through other approved booking channels. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
  • 3.2 All Course fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Resuscitation Skills Centre reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Pricing changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
  • 3.3 Payment must be made in full prior to course commencement unless otherwise agreed. Payment processing may be managed through approved third-party payment providers.
  • 3.4 Where invoicing is offered, payment terms must be complied with in accordance with the invoice issued. Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or cancellation of enrolment.

4. Eligibility and Registration

Participants are responsible for ensuring that:
  • registration details provided are accurate and current;
  • any stated Course prerequisites or eligibility requirements are met; and
  • they enrol in Courses appropriate to their qualifications, experience, or professional scope.


Resuscitation Skills Centre reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations where eligibility requirements are not met or where participation may compromise safety, learning outcomes, or course integrity.

5. Cancellation, Transfers & Substitutions

We aim to provide high-quality Courses and education services and want you to be satisfied with your experience. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring a cancellation or alteration of your booking. However, due to the limited availability of Course places and the costs associated with Course preparation, we request adequate notice wherever possible to allow us an opportunity to fill the place.

  • 5.1 Resuscitation Skills Centre encourages Participants who are unable to attend a booked Course to transfer their registration to another available Course date where possible.
  • 5.1.1 Each booking is eligible for one (1) transfer only.
  • 5.1.2 Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to Course availability.
  • 5.1.3 Transfers may not be available where Course schedules, accreditation requirements, or administrative constraints prevent this.
  • 5.2 Participants may nominate another eligible person to attend in their place at no additional cost, provided:
  • 5.2.1 Notice is given prior to Course commencement;
  • 5.2.2 The substitute Participant meets all applicable Course prerequisites and eligibility requirements; and
  • 5.2.3 The original Participant is responsible for providing any pre-Course materials already issued to the substitute Participant.
  • 5.3 Where a Participant chooses to cancel their booking, the following conditions apply:
  • 5.3.1 More than 30 days before Course commencement
    - A FULL refund may be provided, less any applicable administration fees.
  • 5.3.2 Between 14 and 30 days before Course commencement
    - A PARTIAL refund may be provided minus a $150 materials and any applicable administration fees to cover printed Course resources and associated preparation costs.
  • 5.3.3 Within 14 days of Course commencement
    - NO refund will ordinarily be provided due to costs associated with Course preparation, faculty allocation, catering, and minimum instructor ratios.
At the sole discretion of Resuscitation Skills Centre, a transfer may be considered where exceptional circumstances are demonstrated.
  • 5.4 Participants are not entitled to a refund where they:
  • fail to attend an Course; or
  • withdraw after the Course has commenced

  • 5.5 Resuscitation Skills Centre reserves the right to: 
  • reschedule or cancel a Course where required due to insufficient enrolments, instructor unavailability, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Where this occurs, Participants will be offered either:
  • a transfer to an alternative Course date; or
  • a full refund of fees paid.
  • 5.6 Nothing in this section limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Course Delivery, Assessment and Certification

  • 6.1 Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, or in a blended format depending on the Course requirements. Course content, schedules, delivery methods, and instructors may be adjusted where reasonably necessary to maintain quality, safety, or operational requirements.
  • 6.2 Participants must attend and actively participate in all required components of a Course. Failure to attend mandatory sessions or complete required learning activities may result in non-completion of the Course.
  • 6.3 Some Courses include practical and/or theoretical assessments. Participants must successfully meet the assessment requirements and competency standards applicable to the Course in order to be eligible for certification or completion.
  • 6.4 Certification, statements of completion, or other course outcomes will only be issued where all attendance, participation, and assessment requirements have been met. Payment of Fees does not guarantee successful completion or certification.
  • 6.5 Where a Participant does not meet Course requirements, including assessment criteria, attendance requirements, or participation standards, Resuscitation Skills Centre reserves the right to withhold certification.
    Where appropriate, options for reassessment or re-enrolment may be offered at the discretion of Resuscitation Skills Centre and may incur additional Fees.
  • 6.6 Course requirements, assessment standards, or certification criteria may be amended where necessary to comply with regulatory, accreditation, or industry requirements.

7. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are appropriately prepared and able to participate safely in the Course.
This includes, but is not limited to:
  • reviewing and bringing any pre-course materials provided;
  • attending the Course at the scheduled time and location (or online platform where applicable);
  • meeting any stated prerequisites or eligibility requirements;
  • ensuring they are physically fit to safely participate in practical activities where applicable;
  • actively participating in learning activities, simulations, and assessments;
  • ensuring personal details and contact information are accurate and up to date; and
  • complying with reasonable instructions provided by instructors or course staff.


Participants acknowledge that successful completion of a Course and the issuing of any certification may be dependent upon meeting attendance, participation, and assessment requirements.

8. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other participants at all times.

Resuscitation Skills Centre reserves the right to remove or refuse participation to any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate, without refund.

Participants must comply with reasonable directions provided by instructors or course staff to maintain a safe and effective learning environment.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, content, resources, and learning materials provided by Resuscitation Skills Centre are protected by intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise stated, intellectual property rights in materials created by Resuscitation Skills Centre remain the property of Resuscitation Skills Centre.

Some content may include material owned by third parties, affiliates, licensors, or partner organisations and is used under licence or with permission. All such rights remain with their respective owners.

Course materials are provided for personal educational use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, adapted, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Participants must not record, reproduce, or share course content without approval.

10. Website Use

Users agree to use the Website lawfully and in a manner that does not compromise the security, functionality, or operation of the Website or its services.

Unauthorised access attempts, misuse of systems, or interference with Website functionality are prohibited.

11. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our Website or Services, you acknowledge that your information may be collected, stored, and processed as described within our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • 12.1 Courses and Services provided by Resuscitation Skills Centre are for educational purposes only. Participation in a Course does not replace professional judgement, workplace policies, or clinical governance requirements.
    Participants remain responsible for applying their own professional knowledge, judgement, and decision-making in clinical or workplace settings.
  • 12.2 Resuscitation Skills Centre does not guarantee employment outcomes, professional advancement, or specific clinical outcomes arising from participation in any Course or Service.
  • 12.3 Some Courses may include practical, simulation, or skills-based activities. Participants acknowledge that participation in such activities is voluntary and undertaken at their own risk, subject to applicable law.
    Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by instructors or staff.
  • 12.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resuscitation Skills Centre is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from participation in a Course, use of the Website, or reliance on any educational content provided.
  • 12.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. To the extent permitted by law, where liability cannot be excluded, Resuscitation Skills Centre’s liability is limited to the resupply of Services or the refund of Fees paid.

13. Indemnity

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resuscitation Skills Centre from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
  • a breach of these Terms and Conditions;
  • misuse of Course materials or Services; or
  • unlawful or inappropriate use of the Website or Services.


This clause applies to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law and General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Resuscitation Skills Centre regarding the use of the Website and Services.

Failure by Resuscitation Skills Centre to enforce any provision shall not be considered a waiver of that provision.
